Your first visit is all about you and your life. We want to learn as much as we can about your life and what is contributing to your pain. This is where we will take you through our thorough assessment process to find the root cause of your pain or injury. We will also chat about what you hope to get out of your time with us and set your GOALS
Tailored Treatment Approach
Time to use all the information we have found during our deep dive to develop your individualised care! We will find the most effective ways to reduce your pain as quickly as possible, create long term solutions to these problems and ensure that we are working towards your set goals. You and your practitioner will work as a team to plan how this will fit in with your life and current commitments
Short Term Strategies to Reduce Symptoms
Obviously we all want to get out of pain as fast as possible so that we can go about our normal day comfortably. We'll use some short term strategies to reduce your symptoms quickly whilst working on the long term solutions in the background. Some common short term pain reducers include taping, padding, shoe mods, orthotics, massage, dry needling etc.
Long Term Strategies to Keep You Moving
A common complaint we hear is "my previous Podiatrist didn't address the root cause of my problem". This is where we make the biggest difference to your life and function, long term. Our long term strategies address strength deficits, movement inefficiencies and issues with range of movement. We teach you how to work on these things independently so you can continue to better yourself for many years to come.
